Time Spent

Time Spent

The “Time Spent” metric records the total time students spend engaging with activities in the platform. Any interaction within these assigned activities contributes to total time tracked.

This includes Time Spent on:
  1. Typing exercises

  2. Typing games

  3. Course activities

  4. Reading and text-based activities

  5. Vocabulary activities

  6. Assessments and quizzes

  7. Video activities

How to Increase Time Spent Through Assignments

To ensure student time is properly tracked, you can assign a variety of activities:
  1. Assign curriculum or courses for structured typing practice.

  2. Assign games for reinforcement and engagement.

  3. Create and assign word lists for vocabulary practice.

  4. Create and assign tests or assignments for assessments.

  5. Assign video or reading activities where applicable.

As students complete these activities, all active engagement time will automatically be recorded under Time Spent.
