How can I add a new teacher to a class, update the class name, or move a student to a different class?
For Google/Microsoft SSO, and non-SSO classrooms:
2.
Updating the class name: Head over to the class >
Overview >
Edit Class:
3.
Moving a student to a different class: Head over to the class you want to move them to >
Overview >
Enroll Students.
Search for their name, select the student, leave the check mark for "Remove from other classes when enrolling to new" and click on
Enroll Selected Users. The student will then be moved to the new class and removed from the previous one they were enrolled in.
For Clever/Classlink/Canvas SSO:
Any changes in the Roster or Classes will need to be requested from the respective SSO Admin (i.e: Classlink admin, Clever admin, Canvas admin), since they will need to this from their admin side of things.
All of the changes made in Typesy would only be overwritten on the next scheduled sync. In order to reflect the information properly, sending the request over to your SSO admin would be the best course of action.
